Statement of Faith
1. We believe in the Holy Trinity – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Our Almighty God is Holy, Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient. He is a covenant making and covenant keeping God. He is God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We stand alongside with Israel in prayer and supplication (Psalm 122:6-9). God’s blessings are unlimited to all who loves Him and obey His Word (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Isaiah 1:19).
2. The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). It is powerful and sharper than any double edged sword (Hebrew 4:12).
3. We are saved by God’s grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary (Ephesians 2:8-9). Jesus is the resurrection and the life. The power of sin and death was broken by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, at Calvary; and therefore, we received the Spirit of sonship (Romans 8:15-17).
4. The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded in the Scriptures. We believe that all who repent and believe in Christ as Lord and Savior are to be baptised. By such act of baptism, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and are raised with Him to walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).
5. The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements: bread and the fruit of the vine, is the symbol expressing our remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ in his death (1 Corinthians 11:23-25), our union with him as part of the body of Christ (1 Corinthian 12:27), and our anticipation of His second coming (1 Corinthians 11:26).
6. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire, are available to all believers of Jesus Christ (Matthew 3:11), that they might receive power to preach the good news to all nations (Acts 1:8) and to perform miracles, signs and wonders (Mark 16:15-20).
7. Those who are led by the Spirit are sons of God. As children of God, we are called into a life of separation from sinful practices; to live a life holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1-2). Holiness is a manifestation of Jesus Christ in us, transforming us into His likeness, from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18).
8. The Kingdom of God is not a matter of talk, but of power (1 Corinthians 4:20), and, God gives the Spirit without limit. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon us, to advance God’s Kingdom (Isaiah 61:1-2) through the supernatural manifestation of His enabling, power and gifting.
9. We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is to be preached not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the God’s power (1 Corinthian 2:4-5). For the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world, but have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthian 10:3-4).
10. We believe in the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 25:31), to judge the living and the dead (2 Corinthians 5:10), and that our Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ, will reign forever and ever (Revelation 11:15).
