Our Mission to the Klang Valley   Ps Paul

24 Apr

Part 1 (The Mission Work)

The teaching at Jubilee Initiative Malaysia Bhd, Kuala Lumpur on 14 & 15th April 2009, and the power ministry at Portals of Glory in Petaling Jaya, were our first outdoor mission since CKRM Leadership Training (SEA) Sdn Bhd commenced on 14th March 2009.

My ministering partner, Ps Esther Chow and I left Malacca on 13th April 2009. While in Kuala Lumpur, we stayed at my son, George’s home. George even had his chauffeur to drive us to Jubilee Initiative Malaysia Bhd located at Pandan Perdana, Cheras.

Not only were the students amazed, that the word of God spoken, was accompanied with demonstration of His power, but they also witnessed the activating of the ‘Roar’ of the Lion of Judah in a student. The President of Jubilee who received the 7 Flying Arrows (Habakkuk 3:11), demonstrated the gift powerfully on a student too.

Though there were more people on the 2nd day, the anointing was not as strong as on the 1st day. Perhaps some new visitors came with a wrong motive to observe.

The night meeting at Portals of Glory was awesome with demonstration of many spiritual weapons such as: the Sword (Revelation 19:11-16), the Whip of Jesus (Isaiah 10:26, John 2:15), the Seven Arrows (Habakkuk 3:11, Psalm 18:14, 2 Samuel 22:15), the Flashing Spear (Habakkuk 3:11), the Sling & Stone of David (1 Samuel 17:49), Rays Flashed from His hand (Habakkuk 3:4) and spiritual wine (John 2:9).

A pastor was not only swept by the fire of God, but also experienced the power ofthe flying arrow and other weapons. He was thrown to the floor several times. The pastor shared later that he saw in the vision, I was holding a metal arrow. There was an impartation of The Sword to a brother and he demonstrated it powerfully on two people.

Part 2 (Question Time – Sharing my experience on how I receive the Fire Impartation)

In the morning class at Jubilee, a student posed a question, “Can God anoints a person without impartation from a man of God?” Two days before during a dinner fellowship, a pastor of a Baptist Church emphasized every Christian could go to the Father to anoint him directly instead of seeking impartation through God’s anointed people.

Sure, God can anoint a person directly.

He may meet us at our level of hunger just like He meets us at our level of faith. For instance, if the faith level of a sick man is his belief that he needs to go for surgery to be healed, then the Lord may meet and heal him at that level. If he believes that he need not go for surgery and that God will heal him, then this is the faith level he has.

I went on to share briefly my own experience, on how the Lord led me to a School of Practical Ministry in California, and anointed me directly without impartation from a man of God.

Now, I would like to share more in details.

In 2001, while attending a weekend encounter, I witnessed the power of God for the first time. People were slain (fell to the floor under the power of God) and some burst into tongue. Having witnessed such power, I became very hungry and long to experience the power of being slain, and to speak in tongue.

I began chasing after men of God; attending meetings held by anointed speakers and would rush to the front to be prayed for when the meeting ended. Seeing the deep hunger in my heart, the Lord began to lead me; first to a man of God for counselling in order to deal with certain issues of my family life.

Having dealt with the first stage, the Lord then prompted me to go to a Chinese Seminary in California. Now, it did not make sense for me to go there, as I was English educated and could not read nor understand Mandarin. However, the Lord wanted me to go there to clear the obstacle before I could receive the anointing.

By His grace, He removed every hindrances that was trying to thwart me from going to the Seminary. Even my Church pastor told me that there was no need to go to USA to seek anointing, and that we can receive it in Singapore.

Putting aside world’s notion of logic and good sense, I took that leap of faith to travel to California. I knew that the Bible is full of examples of people who were willing to follow God’s word instead of logic and was blessed beyond measure.

I was not wrong as God is faithful. During ministering time, the speaker gave me a word that the Lord would give me what I would not be able to receive in my home country. Almost 10 days passed by. I received nothing but witnessed many students being blessed. Finally, I was being ministered to by a group of people, who led me to prayer of repentance, setting me free from the obstacle of not being able to receive the blessing from God.

After the prayer, the Lord visited me in my daughter’s home and revealed to me sins of unforgiveness and other sins. I repented in tears. It was a turning point in my spiritual life and opened the door to receive the most precious & rare fire anointing. I just wanted what most Christian commonly have, like speaking in tongue and healing gift. But God gave me more than what I asked for – the fire anointing to empower the body of Christ, baptizing Christians in fire (Matthew 3:11) and to activate the gifts of the Spirit in them.

The Fire Anointing is a very powerful gift to set people free from bondages, heal the sick and empower the Christian for ministries. Many Christians have been blessed at CKRM, and the fire of God has enhanced their sensitiveness to the leading of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14).

I received the fire anointing in the most unexpected way. It happened during a spiritual warfare where a big group of powerful intercessors were praying & interceding against a demonic manifestation in the school in California. Being naïve and unaware of the battle, I thought that the intercessors, who were mostly pastors & Church leaders attending the courses were praying & seeking for anointing.

Not wanting to be left behind, I went to the stage during the height of intercession. At that very moment, their prayers of intercession opened up heaven and rained a very powerful fire upon me. It swept through my entire body for few minutes. The 2nd wave of fire of God came upon me the following day.

Hence, to the question that I was asked, God anointed me directly without going through impartation by man of God. Like Elisha who gave up everything to follow Elijah, I was willing to take the leap of faith by using my time & resources travelling all the way to California, trusting fully in Him.

If we want the easy way out by imposing condition such as telling God that we only want to receive the anointing in the privacy of our home or in our own Church, we could go on waiting and never receive it.

“All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as He pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back His hand or say to Him: “What have you done?” (Daniel 4:35).

A pastor shared with me about 5 ladies who wanted the gifts of tongue. Except for one, the rest received the gift. The one who did not receive asked the pastor why she was not able to receive the gift of tongue. Finally, the answer was she imposed condition that she only wanted to receive the gift of tongue in the privacy of her room in her home.

Then she told the Lord that she was now ready to receive the gift, fully surrendering to the Lord without any condition attached. She did not receive it immediately. One day while waiting for taxi at the hotel lobby, she fell to the floor under the power of God and burst out in tongue, to the amazement of a crowd of curious onlookers.

God will not give what we are too proud to receive. Pride is like a barrier that blocks out the very things God desires in our life. He sees our heart, whether or not we are willing to press in. The heart that desires the things of God will not impose condition on the method that God should use, or how, where and when that God should do to bless him/her.

God wants us to have the heart like Jacob, who wrestled and refused to let go of God until the Lord blessed him (Genesis 32:26). I know of a Principal of a Bible College in USA, who gave up his job to follow a man of God to be his attendant for 18 months without salary. Finally the Lord blessed him with a healing anointing.

A heart that yields to God, will be willing to do the will of the Father, just like the heart of King David. God uses a vessel that is obedient & willing.
